Opus 5 represents the completion of an instrument begun by a Toronto organbuilder 20 years ago, but never finished. Its chests, pipes and frame have passed through several hands in the last two decades, and have suffered from storage under dubious conditions, but it is time to give it a voice and let it sing. The work includes new channelled toeboards, keyboards, pedal and coupler action, and the completion of some pipework and casework. It will be available in late 2017.
